Olympic champions Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin and Danish counterparts Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen and are set for one last showdown after the pairs were drawn in Group A at the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024 draw ceremony.
They faced each other twice at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, once in the group stage, and again in the semifinals, with the Chinese Taipei duo prevailing on both occasions.
Hangzhou is the last dance for Lee and Wang, but they have not played together since the YONEX Taipei Open 2024.
Also drawn in men’s doubles Group A are Chine Taipei teammates Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan, and Malaysia’s Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzudin.
Fellow Olympic gold medallists Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong will start their final tournament together with a first-up match against compatriots and mixed doubles top seeds, Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.
