"In 2019 she and her doubles partner Wakana Nagahara were given the Honour Award by the Hokkaido Prefecture in Japan. In 2018 she and her partner Wakana Nagahara were presented with the Akita Prefecture Citizen Medal in Japan."

"To win a gold medal in the women's doubles event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo."
