Thailand Masters: Sihag’s Dream Run into Final

World No.63 Devika Sihag‘s fairytale run at the PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Masters 2026 continued as she beat fifth seed Huang Yu-Hsun to set up a title clash with Goh Jin Wei.

Sihag, whose previous best was a final at the Indonesia Masters II (Super 100) last October, beat several higher-rated opponents this week, starting with Ashmita Chaliha in the first round, and then taking down eighth seed Tung Ciou-Tong and top seed Supanida Katethong.

Her opponent in the final will be Goh Jin Wei, who has enjoyed her best performance in over two years. Goh’s last semifinal was at the Hong Kong Open in September 2023, and since then has suffered a succession of early exits. Goh fought past compatriot Wong Ling Ching 17-21 21-17 21-16 and has the opportunity to win her first title since the World Junior Championships 2018.

In men’s singles, Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah upset second seed and recent DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters champion Alwi Farhan in straight games to set up a final against Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul.

» Indonesian youngsters Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin made their second final in two weeks and sixth in their last seven tournaments beating Hu Ke Yuan/Lin Xiang Yi 21-16 21-15. They face compatriots Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, who beat Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat in straight games.

» Indonesia had good news in the other paired events as well as they assured themselves of the mixed doubles title, and ensured a shot in women’s doubles with Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti making the final against Bao Li Jing/Li Yi Jing.
