Having swept past their opponents at last week’s DAIHATSU Japan Open 2025, Korea’s An Se Young and Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae will eye a special accomplishment at the VICTOR China Open 2025. Should they win it, they will be the first players to win all four HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournaments in a season.

An Se Young will look to recapture the China Open that she last won in 2023, while Seo will carry memories of his mixed doubles triumph that year with Chae Yu Jung.

An takes on Michelle Li in what might be a tricky opening assignment, and a second round against either compatriot Sim Yu Jin or the fast-improving Putri Kusuma Wardani.
