The HYLO Open in Germany has been elevated to Super 500 status on the HSBC BWF World Tour for seasons 2025 and 2026.

This follows the recent announcement that the YONEX Canada Open has become a Super 300 tournament for the remainder of the hosting cycle.

The HYLO Open was identified by BWF as a suitable Super 500 replacement and will ensure an elevated world-class tournament in Germany and Europe.

The tournament has been a fixture on the badminton calendar since 1988.

HYLO Open 2025 in Saarbrücken is scheduled for 28 October-2 November.
